Microstudio allows you utilize your computer like a Karaoke player, change key pitch, remove or reduce vocals, import tracks from scratched discs with lyrics, record, make backup disc copies, make exact copies of Karaoke CDG, and burn discs.

The first time you run Microstudio, you have to select the CDR/DVDR reading drive to use the import tracks, duplicate discs, and playing screen; and select the writing drive to use in the write disc and duplicate disc screen (you can select the same drive for both actions). You can select the enhanced error correction quality to play and import files. The program detects, if the drive works for audio, Karaoke read and Karaoke write. You can hide or show the drive, if it doesn't support reading or writing. Hidden drives don't appear in the read or write drive list. In the main window you can browse a folder and play songs, remove vocals, or remove higher and lower pitched vocals. To duplicate discs you have to insert in the write drive a blank disc with the same format of the source. You can select a temp folder to store an image on the hard disk. Insert the master disc in the reading drive (if you have only one drive you have to insert first the source disc). You can test CDs before writing, clicking in the "Test your CD before writing" button. Click the "Start duplicating" button to start copying. To import disc tracks click in Import Tracks on the menu, insert the original disc in the reading drive, select the type of import you want (karaoke.bin to import audio and lyrics or audio.wav to import only the audio removing the lyrics if the source is a karaoke disc). Press Browse to select a folder container, and click on the "Read disk" button to show the content of the disc. Select the desired songs (all fields of selected songs must have a title and artist). Click on the "Import Selected Tracks" button to start importing. In the status field you will see, if the track was imported or if it had an error. To write a disc you can combine karaoke and audio files. Click on the menu and select "Write disc", add songs to the list, and click Karaoke CD button in order to write your songs to a CDG format disc, or the audio CD button to remove the lyrics or graphics and write only the audio to the disc. Also you can test the CD before writing. After making your list, click in the "Write CD" button to begin creating your disk. To record you can use a microphone while playing or record only the microphone. Minimum system requirements: 1GB for Microsoft Windows 2000 and XP; 2GB for any Vista version; 800MHz processor speed, audio card, Windows .NET, Windows Media player 9.0, and CDG capable CD/DVD burner.
